That is the one thing you cannot change. After living on a little pond near the Platte River and us raising our children in this fun environment, things changed after they were grown. I found that I wanted to do more things in town and I was not getting home until late in the evening. So 2 days before my husband and my 34th wedding anniversary in 2017 we closed on a beautiful home built in 1931 on W Charles St. There was lots of wallpaper to remove and changes to make, but the excitement of having a home with such charter was exciting! I am go grateful to be able to live 6 blocks from my grandchildren, stop home in the middle of the day or eat supper at home and then do activities in town. My point is, think about how you spend your time and what is important to you. We all only have so many hours in a day and being nearer to the things I want to do has helped.
